Packages
VLP Package
This package calculates vertical lift performance tables for wells
Usage
Run the workflows from this package to perform the calculations. The schedules may be adapted to use different contexts.
Details
The same marching algorithm that is used in the Gradients (p, T, H) package is employed to calculate a well's vertical lift performance. This is achieved by putting in a customizable range of flow rates and calculating the corresponding pressure. The results are stored as reference table.
Data Requirements
The following data is required:
api gravity oil
casing inner diameter
CO2 content
directional survey true vertical depth
gas oil ratio
gas specific gravity
H2S content
perforation top
production casing depth
reservoir temperature
solution gas oil ratio at bubble point
tubing depth
tubing inner diameter
water cut
water salinity
water specific gravity
well head pressure
well head temperature
Further comments
When overriding the scope, make sure to use a scope containing depth information (From depth, To depth, Depth Step).
