This package calculates the data needed to construct and analyze Hall plots.
Usage and Configuration
Run the workflows from this package to perform the calculations. The schedules may be adapted to use different contexts.
The script Hall Plot Visualization can be used to extract the data needed to create Hall plots in a dashboard.
Follow the steps given in How do I configure packages pulled from Datagration's package repository to change the configuration of the package.
Use the workspace value HierarchyFormationWellRelationships to configure which hierarchy contains information about the relationships between formations and wells.
Use the workspace value FreshwaterPressureGradient to configure the pressure gradient of freshwater.
Use the workspace value WaterSpecificGravityLiterature to configure the specific gravity of water based on literature.
Use the workspace value DataLoadOffsetDays to configure the end of the scopes Start To Date Daily and Start To Date Monthly.
E.g. If the data in the data sources is lagging one day, set the workspace value to 1 to account for this offset.
The upper and lower thresholds, which are used to detect the wellbore plugging and fructuring respectively, must be configured by the user when setting up the workflow Hall Plot Surveillance.
The user must set up the average perforation depth when setting up the workflow Hall Plot Surveillance.
Details
The derivative of the Hall integral is categorized into two categories according to the following logic:
- Tag entries for Tag wellbore plugging are created when the slope of the derivative Hall integral is above the upper threshold
- Tag entries for Tag fracturing are created when the slope of the derivative Hall integral is bellow the lower threshold
Data Requirements
The following data is required on well level:
water injection volumes
injection pressure
reservoir pressure
perforation bottom
well head pressure
bottomhole pressure
perforation top
water injection rate
