Predict

DCA

  • When creating a new DCA model in PetroVisor, the system defaults to fitting an exponential curve. We have now introduced an Auto Fit option for the segments, which automatically selects the best curve type based on the highest R-squared value. When this toggle is activated, it will disable the other control options.

Scenarios

  • Introduced a feature that allows users to add and save descriptions for workspace values within a scenario, enhancing clarity and context for each value.

Build

Develop

  • Within the P# Scripts, a new tooltip feature has been introduced that provides additional information regarding the reason for the Preview button being disabled and the script's inability to run. For example, the tooltip explains that the script is unable to run because there is no defined context.
  • Enhanced the capability to display plots both in Develop and Dashboards. Users now have the option to access a dedicated plotting console or to append new plots to existing ones, facilitating improved data visualization and analysis.
  • Introduced intellisense and autocomplete features in the Python script editor, enhancing user experience by providing contextual suggestions and automatic code completion as you type.

Tables

  • Added Chart button to allow users to chart reference table data for better visualiztion. Charting can be grouped by entity, and there are other charting options like series color, additional Y-axes, log scale, zooming, etc. shall be available too.

Workflows

  • Schedules Tab:
    • Introduced a new "Group By Schedule" toggle that displays schedules in a tree view, illustrating the sequence of schedules that run consecutively. This feature allows users to visualize schedules in the context of their workflows. Please note this is an ongoing development, and additional enhancements will be implemented in future updates.

    • A horizontal scrollbar has been introduced to allow users to navigate through the workflow schedule tree when it contains numerous nested workflows, ensuring that all elements are easily accessible and visible.

Data Model

Signals

  • Introduced a "Save As" feature for signals, enabling users to easily create a duplicate of an existing signal. The new copy will automatically have "copy" added to both its name and short name, while retaining all other properties of the original signal.

Sources

  • In the Mappings tab within Data Sources, we have added a new Error button that filters source-related errors, such as duplicate mappings. This enhancement is particularly useful when dealing with a large number of entities by allowing the user to focus on mappings with errors and simplifies searching through rows of mappings. Deselecting the Error button will revert to show all mappings.

  • Enhanced the functionality to support the importation of entities using a Smartsheet connection.
  • The PI AF entity mapping functionality has been improved, allowing the PI template to be mapped to the PetroVisor name without requiring an exact match. Users can now utilize an Alias or another signal for this mapping, similar to the flexibility offered in other data source mappings. By simply unchecking the Exact Match checkbox, users can accommodate scenarios where the PI template, PetroVisor alias, and PetroVisor entity name differ.

  • Users can now map opportunities using the enhanced auto-mapping feature, which leverages an updated endpoint specifically designed to include these opportunities.
