June 2024 Updates

Highlight

    Datagration Dashboards

    • Users now have the option to save the Terrain selection on various cards within the app.
    • Users now have the ability to enable various map layers and save their customized settings directly to the dashboard for a personalized viewing experience.
    • Map Cards will now display values based on the selected scope of entities. Currently, the aggregation is set to SUM, but we are working on adding functionality to allow for different aggregation methods in the future.

    • Implemented a slider in the scope drop-down menu for easy adjustment of the viewing scope.

    • Users now have the capability to select an entity on a chart, which will then prompt the dashboard to filter down to that specific entity for a more focused view.

    • When zooming in on a chart within the dashboard, you will be prompted to update the scope of the entire dashboard.  Please make sure to select a scope before updating the dashboard.

    • Included a feature to remove dates when no specific scope is chosen.
    • Implemented a new feature on P# script cards that allows users to easily transpose tables for enhanced data manipulation capabilities.

    Predict

    DCA

    • Implemented a feature that allows users to organize the DCA list by R² and Review Status for easier navigation and analysis.

    Build

    Develop

    • Enhanced the user interface on script pages across the application to make errors more user-friendly. Users can now easily open and close error messages to view more of the script. This improvement impacts areas like Develop, Library, ML, and Tables.

    Python

    • Included a hyperlink in the Arguments panel that directs users to the Global Requirements for easy reference.

    • The Run button will be disabled if there is an error in the script.

    Library

    • Users now have the ability to save Entity Sets, Scopes, and Contexts by utilizing the "Save As" option in the Library section, providing a convenient way to store and access important data configurations.

    Workflows

    • Users now have the option to execute a workflow without setting a schedule by simply selecting the "Run" option from the overflow menu.

    Data Model

    Signals

    • Eliminated the default setting for interval aggregation, allowing users to now manually choose this field for improved data consistency.

    Hierarchies

    • Revised time-based hierarchies now ensure that changes made to one timestamp do not affect other dates within the hierarchy. Each hierarchy timestamp is treated as its own separate entity.

    Sources

    • Added a new feature in PI Connections that allows users to easily discover and connect to data sources through a user-friendly discovery tool.
