VFM (Choke Models) Package
This package estimates the liquid production rate of naturally flowing wells using various choke models.
Usage
Run the workflows from this package to perform the calculations. The schedules may be adapted to use different contexts. To change the used correlation, update the string input in the workflow VFM (Choke Models). By default the Iraqi correlation is used.
The script VFM Error Estimation can be used to estimate the error of the calculated values compared to measured data.
Details
The liquid production rate is calculated using data from the last available well test according to one of the following correlations:
- Iraqi
- Roberto
- Baxendell
- Gilbert
- Ros
- Pilehavari
- Achong
- Roberto Python
Data Requirements
The following data is required on well level:
choke size
well head pressure
well test gas production rate
well test oil production rate
well test water production rate
