Calculate the data needed to construct and analyze Chan plots
Usage
Run the workflows from this package to perform the calculations. The schedules may be adapted to use different contexts.
The script Chan Plot Visualization can be used to extract the data needed to create Chan plots in a dashboard.
Details
The water oil ratio (WOR) and its first derivative (WOR') are analyzed and categorized into categories according to the following logic:
- constant water oil ratio: delta WOR < 1 and delta WOR' between 1 and 2
- normal displacement: delta WOR is approx. 1 and delta WOR' is between 1 and 3
- multilayer channeling: delta WOR > 1 and delta WOR' ≥ 3
- rapid channeling: delta WOR ≥ 2 and delta WOR' > 2
